BOISE, Idaho – For the second time in as many draws, Idaho has a million dollar winning Powerball ticket.  The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that at least one winning ticket matched all five of the first numbers from last night’s $97.8 million Powerball draw and is worth $1 million.  That winning ticket was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Oneida County along the Idaho – Utah border.  The winning numbers were 02, 08, 22, 35, 37 and the Powerball was 06.

“This is a remarkable run of good luck for our players,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “We are encouraging everyone who played Powerball and Weekly Grand for last night’s draws to check their tickets carefully for winners.”

Including the million dollar winning ticket, there were nearly 4,100 winning Powerball tickets in Idaho from last night’s draw.  With no jackpot winner, the estimated Powerball jackpot for Wednesday night is now $116 million.

Last Wednesday, Idaho had also had a $1,000,000 Powerball winner that was claimed by Audrey and David Eckert from Boise on Friday.

The Idaho Lottery encourages all players to sign the back of their tickets prior to presenting them for payment.

Last night’s million dollar Powerball winner and Weekly Grand jackpot winner have 180 days to claim their prize from Idaho Lottery headquarters.
